Charity Concert in Support of IYD

True to its commitments and involvement with the most vulnerable, Al Kamandjâti invites you to attend a charity concert in support of the French NGO IYD (International Humanitarian Aid Association). This evening, dedicated to solidarity, will also be an opportunity to enjoy traditional Syrian dishes, available in the theater lobby during the concert.

It is in Nazareth that the uniquely singular poetry of Taha Muhammad Ali was born. An atypical voice in the Palestinian literary landscape. Throughout his life, he sought in the fragility of words the strength to resist. And it is his story, written by Amer Hlehel, a renowned Palestinian playwright and actor, that Sylvain Machac brings to life, with the musical collaboration of Ramzi Aburedwan. Faithful to the Arab poetic tradition, the music—created specifically for the play—fills the stage and punctuates the narrative.

This project, led by the artist Ramzi Aburedwan – رمزي أبورضوان, brings together on stage students from the PMO, the ARCANA association of Épinay-sur-Seine, the Stains Conservatory, and the young ensemble of the El Mawsili association from Saint-Denis.

This project, led by the artist Ramzi Aburedwan, brings together on stage an orchestra of 35 to 40 musicians, including students from the PMO, the ARCANA association of Épinay-sur-Seine, the Stains Conservatory, and the young ensemble of the El Mawsili association from Saint-Denis. The repertoire features Arab-Andalusian music and traditional music from some of the countries participating in the Olympics, reimagined in an “oriental” style.

A concert of Arab-Andalusian music and traditional music from around the world, featuring Ramzi Aburedwan and students from the Pôle Musical d’Orgemont, the Arcana association, the CMMD, and the young ensemble El Mawsili of Saint-De
